The New Island Story *
Some years ago I put up a page called *Island Story*, which
briefly described a year spent on a tropical resort island, South Molle Island, Great Barrier Reef the Whitsundays.
Now, with the passing of time and more webspace, the REAL *Island Story* can be told :-)
Sue Skinner has run her band:
*The Sensational Swing Sisters*
with her partner Joe for many years.
Sue is a performer who knows what people like,
and she delivers with passion, total commitment and
great love and respect.
Partner Joe is a professional manager and also fabulously versatile singer.
The two of them were the best people to work for: I enjoyed the privilege
greatly and learnt a lot about all facets of the business.
From my Diary:
The first month we both had a lot of pressure on. I had a lot of stuff to learn, and I guess it was a while before I loosened up and spent time getting to know a few people.
The Band was:
*the Sensational Swing Sisters*
Run by two of the best people I've ever met, Sue and Joe.
I was fortunate that they were so patient with my progress in the Shows.
